Four Fighters Released by UFC

Josh NeerJosh Neer, Caros Fodor, Brock Jardine, and Jon Manley have been released by the UFC. All four fighters lost their respective bouts at UFC 157. The cuts were first reported on Thursday.

Neer was the longest tenured of the four, having done four stints with the UFC over his career. “The Dentist” lost his third straight fight at UFC 157 against Court McGee. Neer went 2-3 in his latest stint with the UFC.

Strikeforce import Caros Fodor came into the UFC on a short leash after losing to Pat Healy before he joined the UFC. Fodor dropped a tough fight to Sam stout at UFC 157 that ended his short run with the UFC.

Fighters Jon Manley and Brock Jardine were dropped after losses on the UFC 157 Facebook preliminary card. The Ultimate Fighter 16’s Jon Manley was let go after a lackluster showing at UFC 157 against TUF 16 cast mate Neil Magny. Jardine is likely to be remembered as the unlucky fighter to be caught by Kenny Robertson in a brutal Suolev Stretch.

The four fighters join Lavar Johnson in the list of fighters cut after UFC 157. Each fighter was named a likely cut on our UFC 157 Endangered Fighters list.
