The UFC announced $60,000 bonuses for four fighters following UFC on FUEL TV 9. Conor McGregor, Reza Madadi, Brad Pickett, and Mike Easton earned the extra money for their efforts in Stockholm, Sweden.
Irish fighter Conor McGregor earned “Knockout of the Night” in his fight with Marcus Brimage on today’s preliminary card. McGregor used perfect movement to create an angle and unload on “The Bama Beast” with brutal uppercuts. The bonus capped off a successful debut for the Irish sensation.
Reza Madadi pocketed $60K for earning “Submission of the Night.” The Swedish-Iranian fighter came back from a near knockout against Michael Johnson to submit the Blackzilian with an anaconda choke. The bonus was Madadi’s first in three fights with the promotion.
Brad Pickett and Mike Easton picked up “Fight of the Night” for their absolute slugfest at the Ericsson Globe Arena. The two fighters would alternate between high-pace grappling and full on brawl in a bout that Pickett would emerge victorious. The bonus was Pickett’s fourth with the UFC and Easton’s first.
