Brown Batters Mein
Matt Brown describes himself as a “technical brawler” and that is a very apt description of how he fought Jordan Mein tonight. Mein would crack Brown in the first round and went for the kill with a front choke. Brown would battle back however and nearly dropped Mein in the closing moments of the first.
In the second, Brown would pick up where he left off in the first round. Brown quickly stormed forward and landed some devastating strikes that broke the nose of the Canadian prospect. “The Immortal” would immediately look to finish the bloodied Mein and would eventually secure the victory when referee “Big” John McCarthy called the fight.
Brown has now won five fights in a mere fifteen fights. The loss for Mein snapped a three fight win-streak for the Canadian.
