Donald Cerrone vs. KJ Noons

Rd. 1- Noons wastes no time and comes out throwing kicks. Cerrone answers and goes for a takedown but transitions into a nice knee when he doesn’t get it. Cerrone blocks a KJ kick. Nice legkick by Noons. Wicked body kick by Cerrone and a nice leg kick off a counter. Knee to the body by Cerrone stops a Noons rush. Legkick by Cerrone. Cerrone with a takedown but lets Noons up and lands a bid uppercut. Accidental cupcheck by Cerrone but Noons waves him on. Nice knee to the body by Cerrone. Huge headkick by Cerrone was set up perfectly by light punches. Nice first round. MMAFrenzy scores it 10-9 Cerrone.

Rd. 2- Cerrone with a nice takedown and briefly has the back but Noons scrambles up. Big knee by Cerrone on the break. Noons is just on the outside of his range so far. Hard leg kick by Cerrone. Much slower pace in the second. Noons keeps wiping his face where he is cut. Nice combo by Cerrone but Noons answers nicely. Spinning back fist just misses. Noons tries a big flying knee but Cerrone timed it and lands a nice takedown. Big left by Cerrone as Noons tries to scramble up. Body and head shots by Cerrone. Knee to the body by Cerrone, great technique. Donald does a great job of using a half nelson to pass to side control. MMAFrenzy has it 10-9 Cerrone (20-18)

Rd. 3- Nice jabwork by Cerrone to start the round. Nice left by KJ and he stalks forward taunting Cerrone and “Cowboy” responds with a takedown.Wicked elbows by Cerrone are opening up Noons. Noos tries to escape but Cerrone chases it perfectly. Big elbows by Cerrone and Noons is a mess. Cerrone with another big elbow and Noons finally starts fighting back. Cerrone passes to half guard and now to side control with :45 left. Referee asking if KJ can see but man he’s a mess. Big elbows by Cerrone as the round ends. MMAFrenzy scores the round and the fight for Cerrone (30-27).

T.J. Grant vs. Gray Maynard

Rd. 1 – Maynard is swinging big to begin the round. Grant with his own combo. Nice right by TJ. Grants stuns Maynard breifly but the Ohio veteran recovers. Maynard is rocked again with a wicked left hook to right straight combo and Grant is pouncing like a mad man and the fight is called. What a huge victory by Grant. Wow!

James Te Huna vs. Glover Teixeira

Rd. 1- Fighters are wasting no time tonight and Glover gives up on a takedown and connects on a nice right. Both are just missing in the pocket right now. Nice single to a double by Teixeira and he has the takedown. Brazilians in attendance are going nuts. Te Huna briefly recovers guard but Teixeira works through with big strikes. Te Huna scrambles back up but Teixeira jumps an arm-in guillotine and Te Huna is forced to tap.

Junior dos Santos vs. Mark Hunt

Rd. 1- Touch of gloves and we’re off. Big legkick by Hunt opens the action. Another legkcik by Hunt. JDS with a punch that just misses. Left hook by Hunt clips JDS. Nice counter left by Hunt. Huge right by JDS connects and he tries to finish by Hunt rolls up. JDS tries the same overhand again but misses. Nice jab by Hunt.  JDS with a jab to the body. Spinning back fist by Hunt and JDS counters with a nice left hook. Oblique kick by JDS. JDS connects on the overhand right again before the round ends. Fighters shake as the round ends. MMAFrenzy has it 10-9 Dos Santos.

Rd. 2- Hunt with a nice right and a nice overhand right answer from JDS. Big legkick to left hook by Hunt. Another legkick by Hunt. Left hook by Hunt just misses. Jab by Hunt and JDS responds with one of his own. Overhand right by JDS just misses but he lands a good body punch. Jabs by JDS. Spinning backkick by JDS reminds of Schilt’s KO of Hunt. Massive left hooks by Hunt land and he lands a hard right uppercut that sends JDS evading. JDS immediately goes for the takedown following that exchange and gets it. Elbows by JDS on the ground and Hunt escapes after JDS moves to the mounted crucifix. MMAFrenzy has it 10-9 Dos Santos (20-18).

Rd. 3- Touch of gloves and we’re off. Hunt just misses a huge bomb. Straight to the body by JDS. Hunt is walking him down now. Nice right by Hunt. Both fighters are wearing damage here. Hunst is just missing his left hook. Kick to the body by JDS. Jab by JDS. Legkick by Hunt. Jabs by JDS are connecting nicely. Good body kick by Hunt. Hunt just misses a big overhand. Stiff jab by Hunt but JDS with a nasty left hook counter and Hunt staggers back. Spinning wheel kick by Dos Santos and a followup leaves Hunt destroyed. Wow!

UFC Heavyweight Title Fight: Cain Velasquez (c) vs. Antonio Silva

Rd. 1- Bigfoot evades an early takedown attempt. Right by Velasquez and he evades a Bigfoot counter.Nice legkick by the champ. Left hand to a massive right hand by Velasquez catches the Brazilian moving in and he is all over Bigfoot and the fight is called. Bigfoot protests but he was in big trouble. Show of class by both men after the fight.

Cain Velasquez def. Antonio Silva via TKO (strikes) at 1:21 of Round 1
