UFC 161: Vallie-Flagg Injured, Krause In Against Stout

Sam Stout

An injury to Issac Vallie-Flagg has forced a change to UFC 161. Stepping into his place will be RFA veteran James Krause against Sam Stout. The UFC announced the switch via twitter earlier today.

Krause comes into the UFC riding a seven-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Toby Imada at RFA 6. A WEC vet, losing to Ricardo Lamas and Donald Cerrone, Krause has finished five of his last seven fights. He will be taking on Sam Stout, who is coming off a victory over Caros Fodor at UFC 157.

UFC 161 takes place June 15 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. A light heavyweight pairing between former UFC champion Rashad Evans and Dan Henderson will headline the card. The card is set to be co-headlined by a light heavyweight rematch Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua 2 but either fight could be promoted to main event status.
