The GLORY World Series has found a new broadcast partner as the promotion will begin airing live on Spike TV this fall. This is a major move for the promotion that had previously aired via online PPV, with the replays airing on the CBS Sports Network. Spike TV announced the move today via press release.
The kickboxing promotion will be begin airing on the network this fall with two-hour live shows. Jon Slusser, Senior Vice President, Sports and Multi-platform Programming, Spike TV, and Andrew Whitaker, Chief Executive GLORY Sports International, Pte Ltd. were particuarly excited to announce the major deal.
“We are thrilled to partner with GSI in bringing Spike TV’s audience the incredible action and intensity of GLORY’s fight league, which feature the best kickboxers in the world,” said Slusser. “Viewers will quickly see this as the perfect complement to our coverage of Bellator, the world’s leading tournament-based MMA promotion.”

Its audience will expect the most exciting ring action and we promise to deliver it,” said Whitaker. “GLORY kickboxing is the next big thing and Spike clearly knows something about spotting aces in the sports programming space.”
GLORY has established itself as the premiere kickboxing promotion in the world with some of the premiere kickboxing talents Tyrone Spong, Gokhan Saki, Semmy Schilt, Nieky Holzken, Yuta Kubo, Giorgio Petrosyan, Daniel Ghita, Peter Aerts, Remy Bonjasky, and Albert Kraus signed to the promotion. The GLORY World Series recently took to action this past weekend with GLORY 9 taking place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. The Spike TV deal will allow the promotion to air in 98.7 million homes when it debuts this fall.
