UFC Confirms 2013 PPV Lineup

UFC president Dana White pulled a bit of a fast one tonight at the UFC 162 post-fight press conference. While White stated he had big news regarding UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, it turned out White was just going to confirm the remaining UFC pay-per-views for 2013.

UFC 165 will take place Septemeber 21 and will mark the fourth time the UFC has traveled to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The card is set to be headlined by a UFC light heavyweight title fight featuring champion Jon Jones taking on Alexander Gustafsson.

UFC 166 is headlined by the third fight between UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos. The billing will take place October 19 at the Toyota Center.

UFC 167 will see UFC welterweight champion GSP put his title on the line against Johny Hendricks November 16 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will mark the UFC’s 20th anniversary.

UFC 168 is scheduled to close out the UFC calendar with at least one title fight, as UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will take on Miesha Tate on December 28. The rematch of their 2012 bout will be the event’s headliner, UFC president Dana White confirmed the bout will be the headliner at tonight’s presser.

All of the cards/fights had been previously reported before being confirmed tonight. The UFC president announced that the headliners of the cards would be going on an international media tour to promote their respective cards.
