WSOF 4 Medical Suspensions

Victor Valenzuela

The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) has released the medical suspensions for this past weekend’s WSOF 4 fight card. A total of six fighters would receive possible six month suspensions after Saturday’s fight card. The suspensions did not include Marlon Moraes‘ broken foot and middle finger or his opponent’s, Brandon Hempleman, broken fibula that were discovered after the initial exams.

The NBC Sports Network main card saw kickboxing great Tyrone Spong out-strike Angel DeAnda over the course of their three round main event fight. In other main card action, rising fighters Marlon Moraes and Nick Newell continued their winning ways, while veterans Dave Huckaba and Gesias “JZ” Cavalcante also picked up victories.

As always, a doctor can clear a fighter to come back sooner than their issued time.
