A rematch pitting Dan Henderson against Vitor Belfort is being targeted for November 9 in Brazil. The bout is expected to headline the November fight card, which will likely be UFC Fight Night 31. The prospective bout was announced on last night’s episode of UFC Tonight.
The two fighters originally squared off in October of 2006 at PRIDE 33 in Las Vegas, Nevada, with “Hendo” pulling out an unanimous decision victory. While the original bout took place at light heavyweight, it is unclear which weight class the second bout will take place at.
With the fight card being planned for November 9 in Brazil, it could spell the end of the UFC’s original plan to put on a third Fight for the Troops event on November 6.
