Swedish middleweight Magnus Cedenblad will take the place of Tom “Kong” Watson at UFC Fight Night 30. The Swede will take on Italian Alessio Sakara in Manchester, England. UFC officials announced the switch earlier this week.
Cedenblad got his first UFC victory in his second try at UFC 164. The talented fighter defeated Jared Hamman with a devastating mix of striking and grappling as he finished the fight via guillotine choke. The victory helps Cedenblad bounce back from a loss to Francis Carmont in his UFC debut.
UFC Fight Night 30 is scheduled for October 26 at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. The fight card will be headlined by a middleweight showdown between top challengers Michael Bisping and Mark Muñoz. While most of the UFC Fight Night cards will air on FOX Sports 1.
