In the night’s opener, Brennan Ward continued his recent run with an impressive submission of Jim Pacheco.
Parlo Dominates Butcher
Danish striker Mikkel Parlo looked impressive tonight against the previously undefeated Jason Butcher tonight in Visalia. Parlo picked Butcher apart over the course of their three round battle. Butcher would try desperately to get the fight to the canvas via weak takedowns and pulling guard but Parlo never let the fight stay grounded for long. The Dane will now take on Brennan Ward to decide the Season 9 tournament champion later this year.
Ward Submits Pacheco
“The Irish Bad Boy” Brennan Ward punched his ticket to the Season 9 welterweight final in style tonight against Joe Pacheco. Ward caught Pacheco in the second round with a power guillotine choke that put the previously undefeated wrestler to sleep tonight in California. The victory gives Ward a three-fight win streak heading into the Bellator Middleweight Final.
