Bellator 106: Joe Riggs wins Fight Master Title

The Fight Master Final would see Joe Riggs become the show’s first champion in a fairly one-sided fight, while Mike Richman kicked off the Spike TV main card with an explosive victory.

Riggs Controls Bronzoullis

Longtime MMA veteran Joe Riggs would defeat Mike Bronzoullis tonight at the Long Beach Arena to become the Fight Master: Bellator MMA champion. Riggs used a superior all-round game to control Bronzoullis over the course of the fight. Riggs takes home $100K for tonight’s win and will now have a spot in the upcoming Bellator MMA welterweight tournament.

Richman Floors Stepanyan

Mike “The Marine” Richman kicked off the Bellator 106 fight card with a fun featherweight fight opposite Akop Stepanyan. The two featherweight tournament veterans engaged in an exciting back and forth striking battle with Stepanyan seeming to get the upper hand before Richman floored him with a vicious left hand.
