Hope houston can bounce back. I’d like to see danzig atleast give guida a war. I hope diaz can get another win. Can’t wait dude!

  • FR702 said:

Diaz ~ not a fan of his mouth but the kid performs

Clay v Mac~ I think its going to be a war possible sub by
Mac or a decision for Clay I don’t know

Alan~just think he will pull it off

Houston ~ I’m just a fan of his but he might easily get subbed but I want him to bounce back

    Alessio
    Goveia
    Joe
    Brad
    Drew
Dan v Rob ~ just don’t know enough on this one to pick a winner

hey guys havent been on for a while i think this is going to be a good fight night.

    i have winning:
NATE DIAZ tko because hes an animal

    CLAY GUIDA because hes awesome

HOUSTEN ALAXANDER either knockout by housten or dicision by erik

ALESSIO SAKARA only becuase i know him more than the other guy

dont know much about other guys

  • UFC fan said:

and clay is also a animal probaly more than diaz

  • UFC fan said:

no nate is going to win by subission saw neer lost to nick diaz

  • Iceman7106 said:

Diaz to beat Neer probibly by submission.
Guida to beat Danzig by decision
Houston to beat Schaffer by Ko.

    UFC FAN

I’m a diaz fan, but he has no stand up so i don’t think we’ll be seeing a tko,or ko by him. He’s also skinny as hell and has no strength and power to be a solid wrestler or grappler so i’m thinking he’s going to win by sub. His jitz is sick dude! He was getting hammered by pelegrino, but he got that highlight reel triangle. Either way dude…can’t wait!

  • FR702 said:

Yes Diaz by sub (again I like him more than his brother, yet not the biggest fan can’t deny his ground game)

This is an event that is free on Spike ofcourse not the best UFC event but far better than anything EliteXC could imagine putting on

  • Hyp05FXDL said:

At least Nate is being cool unlike his loudmouth brother.

  • UFC fan said:

ya i was thinking of the other diaz but i looked up his record wins so ya by submission and guida win by tko possibly and housten by ko

  • UFC fan said:

cool everyone wieghed exactly their wieght but not really cool… can’t wait to see this

  • UFC fan said:

and does anyone agree with me?

that guida is better than roger huerta even though he lost.

because he was dominating and knocked him out for like 3 seconds in the second round.

then huerta got reall pissed and came out with flying knees and got a good one when guida tried for take down.

  • Justin said:

Diaz - so relaxed under pressure, and great submissions
Danzig - Guida is a good fighter, but Danzig has a lot of experience, I’d also like the TUF guys to continue to do well.
    Herman
Alexander - not really sure, but I’m pulling for him.
    Sakara - pretty good.
    Gouveia - guess
Lauzon - good fighter with a lot of potential, I think he’s a little flaky as to how he does though.
    Don’t know
    McFedries - knock out power
Kimmons - I’ve heard of him before.

Sorry I can’t offer more explanation, I don’t feel like taking the time to refresh my memory about some of the fighters at this point.

  • DolfanG said:

I think I saw Rob Kimmons fight Marvin Eastman. The Beastman won, but Kimmons fought well… a lot of low blows to Eastman though. Dan Miller is better at submissions and better on the mat. I’d pick Miller in this one.

  • JL said:

Clay Guida may be my favorite fighter because of the way he constantly attacks, his tenacity, and some of the creative things I’ve seen him do on the mat. But where he lacks is his striking defense. Clay takes way too much punishment every time he gets in the cage. Usually they’re punches he can take. But because he gets struck so often, devastating shots get through occasionally and what should be a win for him becomes a close decision or a loss (see vs. Tyson Griffin & vs. Huerta). Granted, his highly aggressive style accounts for this and you could argue that’s why he’s always close to winning.

In any case, he’s always incredibly fun to watch and I constantly hope he will have that fight that gets him over the hump and moves him in the upper tier of the lightweight class. Hope he submits Danzig tomorrow night!

  • DolfanG said:

Kimmons — Black belt American Jiu Jitsu
    Miller — Brown belt BJJ

Clay Guida is a heck of a fighter. I’m convinced his long hair hurts him in the ring. It gets in his eyes and it looks like it blocks his airway to some extent sometimes. It looks like he’d be much better off if he’d just cut his hair.

  • The Gunslinger said:

the only thing is….that alot of times in jiu jitsu comps ive seen alot of times black belts get neaten by brown belts and even blue belts all thetime…sometimes a brown belt with one trainer is just as good as a black belt with another…it just depends on how good your teaches are.

  • The Gunslinger said:

winner of guida/danzig should definitly face the winner of maynard/clementi which will be maynard easily so ya maynard faces the winner and then gets his shot at the muscle shark or loser of florian/stevenson or even a rematch with diaz because we all know he would destroy diaz now

  • Rhymeskill15 said:

    WINNERS!!!

    DIAZ
    DANZIG
    HERMAN
    ALEXANDER
    SAKARA
    GOUVEIA
    LAUZON!!

  • Brandon said:

    I’m going with…

Neer - I think that Nate is a good fighter but he can’t rely on submitting everybody.

Guida - I just think he’ll outwork Danzig

Schaffer - I think Houston has no ground skills at all and that will kill him.

Herman - I think for the same reasons Houston will lose, Belcher will lose as well. Although Herman is known to gas out so maybe not.

  • Rhymeskill15 said:

DO YOU GUYS THINK THIS IS A WEAK MAIN EVENT???
    JUST A THOUGHT…

  • timcat said:

It’s not a weak main event. This is what UFN is all about, Former TUF alums to shine.

    Diaz
    Herman
    Alexander
    Danzig
    Sakara
    Jensen
    Lauzon
    Morris
    Drew Mac
    Kimmons

    Thats how I see it.

  • gav d glasgow said:

a think this card could be better than ufc89, more interestin fights!goin for DIAZ GUIDA HERMAN ALEXANDER SAKARA LAUZON,alexander back with a KO!

  • Justin said:

    Rhymeskill15,
NO I DON’T. BUT WHY ARE YOU YELLING????
    JUST A THOUGHT…

Seriously though, its not a bad card for a Wednesday night, Herman is good and can be exciting to watch, Alexander can be exciting (win or lose), Diaz is good to watch. Even though none of this guys are really the tops of their weight class, they are all good fighters, and most of them tend to be exciting to watch.

  • YZFOXRACING said:

    DIAZ NO QUESTIONS ASK
CLAY OF COURSE ALSO CUZ I DON’T LIKE MAC. BUT MAC MIGHT WIN CUZ CLAY KILLED A FLY LOL WHAT A DORK
I HOPE ALEXANDER LOSES IN HIS HOME TOWN. HE’S NEVER IMPRESSED ME AT ALL. I WISH THE LAUZON FIGHT WAS AIRED

  • southcakalak said:

been a fan of this site for a while…definitely one of the first places i check for mma news…good job kris

as for the card…never can complain about a free ufc card…guida never lets you down

  • Rhymeskill15 said:

    gav…
i agree…i think this card is better than the 89 card…
although i do wanna see that vera and jardine fight…
    this card is better!!!

    AND IM NOT YELLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • JOHNBOY said:

im sill wondering if i should stay up and watch this or just sky+ it and watch it 2moz, im sure it will be a great night of fighting but i need my sleep haha

  • FR702 said:

I’m not sure if I will be done with work by the time it starts…. So I set up my dish~divver I can’t wait for tonights fights and it is imo a better card then UFC89 yet do want to see Jardine v Vera and Leben v Bisbing

  • Justin said:

    Rhymes,
That’s what all caps means in message boards, chats, those type places, has for at least 10 years.

This card definitely has the potential to be better than 89, at least 89 is free on spike too.

  • FR702 said:

UFC 89 is free which is awesome, no matter how “bad” a UFC card may seem, that “bad” card will always be better than any EliteXC card (Kimbo v Frankas the main event?, Dailey v Sheilds could be a nice fight).. But Fight night 15 is going to be fun to watch I’m looking forward to it

  • Justin said:

    FR702,
Agreed. Although I personally still think that 89 will be a good card, I just think this one is better. Other organizations are basically bringing a knife to a gun fight when it comes to competing with the UFC, at least at this point in time.

  • FR702 said:

Agreed with that Justin imo the only true competition that the UFC has (north america) is the WEC whic ZUFFA also owns soo ya knife to a gun fight is a pretty good way of describing it

Affliction has had one card, set a date for another card 3 months later but had to cancel that and now it as been pushed back til January almost a full six months since their first card, that is not how u compete in business…..

  • Justin said:

WEC is not even directly competing, since they’re merging MW and LHW into UFC and focusing on the lighter weight classes.

  • FR702 said:

ok well that hasnt exactly happend yet so i believe that we are both correct
also they arent in direct competition simply because ZUFFA owns them both
but that is just petty type bs nevertheless there isnt any (north american) competiton for the UFC that kinda was my point but whatever ya know

  • Justin said:

    yeah… you’re right.

  • Rhymeskill15 said:

    justin!
    does it really?!??
man im new school big homie…
    good lookin out!

but this card is looking good…im excited about it!
and 89 will hopefully produce some fireworks!

  • Leo said:

I love this its about time diaz gets sum love… now i no he was getting pounded by batman but damn you have to luv this kids heart! he has in my opion the sick’s triangle in the game.. Get him to the ground Nate and it’s nighty night!

  • B Free said:

This card doesn’t even come close to UFC 89 just for the fact that Chris Leben’s going to pound Bisping’s face infront of his home crowd. I’m not saying this card sucks but come on, at least have a top conteder match headline. Ill watch this because im a fan and to see Danzig get mauled by GUIDA!!!!

  • FR702 said:

Who is the top contender on the UFC 89 card?

Now they are both awesome cards I like tonights just a little bit more (on paper ofcourse) and I do hope Leben ko’s Bisbing in England as well

  • Kris Karkoski said:

@southcakalak - Thanks, I’m glad you enjoy the site.

You’re right on: Free MMA is never a bad thing. Is this card the best fight night ever? Probably not, but it’s still an interesting card that should have some exciting fights (hopefully) including Guida vs. Danzig.

  • shearhairgirly21 said:
