Welterweight rivals and former champions Matt Hughes and Matt Serra are likely to headline a yet to-be-announced UFC event in April 2009.

UFC executive Joe Silva confirmed the matchup with Hughes this week, though an exact date and venue have yet to be determined for the featured bout.

UFC 93 will take place at the O2 Arena in Dublin, Ireland on January 17th, according to a report from Yahoo! Sports.
