“Inside MMA” host Bas Rutten gave his take on current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones (20-1 MMA, 14-1 UFC). Of course Jones is coming off a win over Glover Teixeira (22-3 MMA, 5-1 UFC) at UFC 172. Check out the highlights down below:

Can Jon Jones Be Beaten?

“Yes, I think everyone can be beaten. The thing with Jon is that every time he fights, he learns from his mistakes and goes back to the drawling board. He does not make a lot of mistakes, but when he does he still learns from them and gets better. I think against Gustafsson, if that was not a title fight then maybe Gustafsson could have taken it. But sense it was a title fight then you would have to take it away from him. Defiantly everyone is stoppable.”

Is Jon Jones A Dirty Fighter?

“You know He’s a very calm, relaxed, methodical fighter, and because he is that, I have to say – I’m sorry I have to say – yes, that is a dirty fighter.” Maybe when he was looking down and then pushing the fingers in the eye, maybe that happened. I didn’t check that out.”

Rutten went on to say: “But he knows exactly what he’s doing at any given time, and his fingers were definitely in face and for a long time. He was constantly rubbing them in his face. So yeah, I have to say yes.”

Bas Rutten is very respected in the MMA world. He has a record of 28-4 with 12 knockouts, 13 submissions and 4 decision. He left the world of MMA back in July of 2006 after a seven year absent. He won his last eight fights.
