Just because they are in two different companies does not mean they can’t taunt each other. As reporter earlier here on the website, Daniel Cormier (14-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC)  believes that not only can Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal (12-3 MMA, 4-2 BMMA) win the fight against  Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (34-11 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) at Bellator 120, he thinks he can end the career of Jackson.

Here is what Cormier had to say:

“This guy insisted that I fight. This guys called me when I was at my lowest point everyday. This guy paid my mortgage when I was broke. He’s my brother and I can’t wait until he competes this weekend in his 1st ppv main event. You don’t meet many people like Muhammad Lawal in one lifetime and I am lucky to have this guy. Watch him put an end to rampage career. Mo you a champion my brother and good luck. You won’t need it. #brother #teamthirsty #okstate #worldteam my brother. Kick his ass MO! @kingmofh”

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson fires back by saying this:

“Why do I care about Daniel Cormier?” Jackson asked on Thursday after a short workout in Memphis, his home city. “Is he in my league? He’s just talking ’cause that’s his boy. That’s what people do. I don’t think about stuff like that. That don’t bother me. I don’t care about what other people say. I know what I’m going to do to ‘Mo.’ I don’t care what Daniel says. Daniel can’t get in the cage and fight for ‘Mo,’ can he? OK.”

“Daniel needs to watch what he says before I smack the taste out of his mouth,” said Jackson.

Either way, this is just the beginning. However the sad thing is that the two cannot fight each other legally. A street fight… Well, that is a different story.
