Another replacement fight in the UFC, Niklas Backstrom (7-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has joined the promotion, and he will step in for Thiago Tavares (18-5-1 MMA, 7-5-1 UFC) to fight Tom Niinimaki (21-5-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 41 in Germany.

UFC Fight Night 41 takes place May 31 at O2 World Berlin in Germany.

Niklas Backstrom has four knockouts, 1 submission and 2 decision victories in his MMA career. He has won his last three fights all by TKO and will be making his UFC debut in this fight.

Tom Niinimaki has 7 knockouts, 8 submissions and 6 decision victories, while he has 1 knockout, 2 submissions and 2 decision losses in his MMA career. He has won his last 11 fights, he made his UFC debut against Rani Yahya via split decision at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale on Nov / 30 / 2013.

This is the first UFC event in Germany since November 2010. This event will air only on UFC Fight Pass, UFC will hold two events on May 31st. The other event is TUF Brazil 3 Finale which takes place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with a main card on FOX Sports 1.
