UFC Fight Night 50 is getting a fight that fight fans should be looking forward to. The promotion announced that John Moraga (14-3) and Justin Scoggins (9-1) will meet at the event.

John Moraga (14-3) Has two knockouts, six submissions and six decision victories, while he has never been knocked out, he has been submitted once.

Prior to joining the UFC, he was on a five fight winning streak. He made his UFC debut against Ulysses Gomez, which he won via KO at UFC on Fox 4 – Shogun vs. Vera on Aug / 04 / 2012 and then in his next fight, he beat Chris Cariaso via submission at UFC 155 – Dos Santos vs. Velasquez 2 on Dec / 29 / 2012. He lost to Demetrious Johnson in their title fight via armbar at UFC on Fox 8 – Johnson vs. Moraga on Jul / 27 / 2013. In his next fight he beat Dustin Ortiz via split decision at UFC Fight Night – Rockhold vs. Philippou on Jan / 15 / 2014. He is coming off a loss to John Dodson at TUF 19 finale.

Justin Scoggins (9-1) has 6 knockout and 1 submission victories in his MMA career. He has never been finished due to him being undefeated. He made his UFC debut against Richie Vaculik and won the fight via TKO in the 1st rd back in December. His latest win came over Will Campuzano via Unanimous decision at UFC 171. He lost to Dustin Ortiz at TUF 19 Finale.

UFC Fight Night 50 takes place Sept. 5 at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard, Conn. The headline fight will be Alistair Overeem vs. Ben Rothwell.

The majority of UFC Fight Night 50 card is expected to air on FOX Sports 1 following a few prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
