Sara McMann is less than 24 hours away from fighting Lauren Murphy at UFC Fight Night 47, but she is looking in her rear view mirror in her loss against Ronda Rousey at UFC 170 to get her ready for her upcoming fight.

“I’m eager for a rematch. There’s definitely the disappointment that I had a lot more to offer.”

“I got caught, and that can happen to anybody. It’s disappointing to get caught, but if I had gone in there and I had gotten dominated, that would be really, really hard for me. I’m working so hard, I’m pushing myself to the maximum and there’s someone that’s just better than me? I think that would be harder.”

Sara McMann has one knockout, three submissions and three wins by decisions in her MMA career. This will be her third fight in the UFC and is looking to rebound. She was undefeated prior to fighting Rousey. She joined the UFC back at UFC 159 – Jones vs. Sonnen on Apr / 27 / 2013 against Sheila Gaff where she won the fight by 1st Rd TKO.

“A victory should push me up a lot closer to the top. If people don’t want to fight me, it’s because I’m good and am worthy of a title shot. … I feel like with another win I should be right there for a rematch.
