If you didn’t catch Bellator 128 last night, then you missed a really entertaining and competitive bout between Joe Warren and Eduardo Dantas. Heading into the tilt, Warren was the promotion’s interim bantamweight champ, while Dantas held the world title.

After five grinding rounds of action, Warren was handed the UD victory and is the undisputed champ as a result. It was big setback for the famed Nova Uniao team, which also lost hold of the UFC bantamweight title earlier this year, when Renan Barao was upset by TJ Dillashaw.

Now it will be interesting to see who Bellator taps to fight Dantas next, and whether he faces Warren once again in the future.

Bellator 128 also featured rising welterweight Michael Page taking on Nah-Shon Burrell, as well as punishing lightweight “Tiger” Sarnavskiy battling Dakota Cochrane.
