If you’re  a big time Cain Velasquez fan, then naturally you were disappointed to hear the news that he will not fight Fabricio Werdum at UFC 180 as scheduled. But, if you enjoy watching Mr. Mark Hunt and his terrorizing fists, then you’re probably extra stoked for November 15th.

Yes, as you’ve likely heard, Hunt has been tapped to fight Werdum for the UFC interim heavyweight title on that date, as a result of Velasquez’s withdrawal. The champion has yet to fight in 2014 due to a shoulder injury at first, and now a knee injury.

In the segment below, Hunt talks about the call he received to let him know about the massive opportunity, and what he needs to do, considering the short notice.

Hunt is coming off a walk of, KO win over Roy Nelson in September and is 3-1-1 in his last 5 fights.

UFC 180 will be hosted by Mexico City and will be available for viewing throughout North America on pay-per-view.
