“Shogun” Rua and Ovince St.Preux will have some extra homework to do in the coming days, as the UFC has announced that the two are now fighting on November 8th.

Yes, Rua was scheduled to throw down with Jimi Manuwa at the Fight Night card, but according to Dana White, the light-heavyweight’s been injured.

There’s been no word yet as to what’s next for Francimar Barroso, who was scheduled to meet “OSP” next week..

While striking enthusiasts were likely pumped to see Rua face Manuwa, St. Preux could pose an interesting challenge for the former champ.

Both men will be looking to get back on track. Rua was taken out by Dan Henderson in his last outing, while “OSP” was decisioned by Ryan Bader.

Rua is currently ranked #9 in the UFC’s 205 division and St. Preux is #10.

UFC FN 56 will take place in Uberlandia, Brazil.
