Myles Jury has continued to roll since he made his UFC debut in 2012, and as a result, he’s been tapped to fight perennial lightweight contender, Donald Cerrone on January 3rd.

When you consider that Cerrone has won five straight, and is sitting in the #4 slot, if the #8 Jury wins, he’ll be right in the title shot mix.

Of course, Cerrone supporters will argue that’s a big “if”, but there’s no denying that Jury has scored some pretty impressive wins during his UFC run.

One of these, was Jury’s first round, stoppage win over Takanori Gomi in September, which you can watch below. Gomi may not be the wrecking force that he once was, but Jury became the first man to stop the former PRIDE champ with strikes.

UFC 182 will go down at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
