Conor McGregor’s next scrap is just over a week away, and if the rising featherweight gets past Dennis Siver on January 18th, “Notorious” will move on to face champion Jose Aldo.

Clearly there’s a lot on the line at UFC Fight Night 59 as a result, although, many critics have argued that McGregor should have been tapped to face a top tier wrestler first. Does that mean that Siver has no chance at pulling off an upset? No. But if the vet takes out McGregor, a lot of people will be surprised / upset/ and or happy (depending on your opinion of course).

While not everyone is sold on McGregor quite yet, the Irish fighter silenced many of his critics in September, when he quickly put away Dustin Poirier. You can watch the fight below.

UFC FN 59 will be hosted by the TD Garden in Boston, and will also feature Donald Cerrone taking on former lightweight champ, Benson Henderson.
