Anderson Silva is set to return to the Octagon on Saturday night at UFC 183, so what better time to reflect on the legend’s best finishes to date right? Especially since this weekend’s bout with Nick Diaz will mark the first time Silva has fought since December, 2013, when he broke his leg while facing middleweight champ Chris Weidman.

Well, in a recent “UFC Now” segment, commentators Kenny Florian and Daniel Cormier came up with their own, top five lists of Silva’s greatest finishes to date. Some of the ones they selected will surely come as no surprise, but there’s also some interesting picks.

When you consider that Silva has scored 14 finishes in the Octagon to date, coming up with a top five might be a little harder than some think. Will “The Spider” add to that list on January 31st? We shall see soon enough. Diaz, it’s worth noting, has only been stopped twice in 35 pro bouts.

UFC 183 will be hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
