Following Neil Magny’s monster, 2014 campaign, he’s scheduled to fight Kiichi Kunimoto at UFC FN 60, and the promotion has released a “Why I Fight” segment featuring the welterweight (and clearly the TUF vet enjoys fighting frequently).
Last year, Magny fought not two or three times, like most UFC competitors, but five times…and, Magny won all five bouts. As a result, heading into his February 14th fight with Kunimoto, Magny is carrying a record of 13-3. Most recently, the American stopped William Macario at UFC 179 in September.
Kunimoto, meanwhile, went 3-0 in 2014 to move his record to 18-5-2. In the Japanese fighter’s last outing, which took place in September, he earned a split decision win over Richard Walsh.
UFC FN 60 will be hosted by the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado, and will feature a weltereweight bout between Brandon Thatch and Benson Henderson in the headliner.
