Remember when Cody McKenzie announced a little while back that he was done fighting, well the UFC vet’s retirement was a brief one, as he fought last night at World Series of Fighting 18. How did it go? Most would say not too well.
McKenzie fought accomplished grappler Andrew McInnes, and ended up getting disqualified in the opening round. McKenzie headbutted McInnes to the face not long after the latter had been warned for grabbing the Alaskan fighter’s hair (which there is plenty of).

So, as a result of the DQ, McKenzie has lost three straight fights now. The TUF vet was released by the UFC in 2013 following a decision loss to Sam Stout, and since then McKenzie has gone 1-3.
