Al Iaquinta has been turning heads with his striking game recently, but in a new video he’s released, the lightweight contender shows off some of his grappling skills.

Iaquinta recently competed in a grappling tournament that was put on by the North American Grappling Association in Philadelphia, and the New York fighter brought along a camera for the ride. It’s an interesting video, not only because it shows Iaquinta rolling in both gi and no-gi matches, but because it includes his take on the bouts.

You can watch the video below.

In terms of MMA, Iaquinta is coming off an impressive, second round stoppage win over Joe Lauzon at UFC 183. The vid also documents Iaquinta repeating he wasn’t pleased he didn’t earn an extra $50K and “Peformance of the Night” for the win…

The 27 year-old, TUF vet is currently riding a three fight winning streak, and has moved into the #15 ranking in the UFC’s 155 division.

Up next, Iaquinta will take on the #13th ranked Jorge Masvidal at UFC Fight Night 63, which will take place April 4th in Fairfax, Virginia.
