UFC 189 already includes must see bouts in Jose Aldo-Conor McGregor and Robbie Lawler-Rory MacDonald, and now the card’s been given a compelling featherweight scrap.

The UFC has announced that Dennis Bermudez will face fellow contender Jeremy Stephens at the July 11th event, which will take place in Las Vegas. The event will be hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Stephens (23-11) has been decisioned by Charles Oliveira and Cub Swanson in his last two fights, after the powerful striker scored three straight wins.

Bermudez (14-4), meanwhile, is looking to get back in the title shot mix, as “The Menace” is coming off a submission loss to Ricardo Lamas. Before that fight, Bermudez had won seven in a row.

Stephens is currently ranked #11 at 145 and Bermudez is #6.
