Kurt PellegrinoKurt Pellegrino announced on Thursday that he’ll take on fellow lightweight Fabricio Camoes at UFC 111 on March 27 in New Jersey.

Pellegrino (14-4) upped his UFC record to 6-3 over his last three fights with victories over Thiago Tavares, Rob Emerson, and, most-recently in August, Josh Neer. “Batman” had been scheduled to fight Frankie Edgar in December, but a back injury forced him to withdraw from the bout.

Camoes (10-4-1) is unbeaten in his last 8 bouts, including EliteXC and Strikeforce victories as well as a draw against Caol Uno in November in his UFC debut.

UFC 111 is headlined by welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre vs. Dan Hardy and also features Shane Carwin vs. Frank Mir for the interim heavyweight title.
