Well, it looks like the UFC doesn’t plan to see how this month’s Anderson Silva – Michael Bisping bout plays out, as Dana White is reporting that Luke Rockhold Chris Weidman II is being targeted for UFC 199.

White relayed the news while talking to Katie Nolan on Garbage Time. The UFC President didn’t provide a date, but he did say the card will take place in June. White also relayed that the rematch between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones is planned for April.

So, it’s not a surprising announcement really. Since Yoel Romero was recently notified of a potential doping violation, the UFC didn’t have a lot of other options to go with. Rockhold wants a rematch with Vitor Belfort, but he was stopped by Weidman last year, and is booked to take on “Jacare” Souza on May 14th.
