On Monday it was revealed that Jon Jones was recently cited for several different traffic violations, and today, it’s being reported that the former UFC champ has been arrested.

Last week, Jones was ticketed for allegedly drag racing, exhibition driving, weaving, failing to properly display his license plate, and modifying his exhaust pipe. Video of an upset Jones arguing with the responding police officer has gone viral.

The 28 year-old has since denied on “The MMA Hour” that he was drag racing.

TMZ is one of the media outlets that is reporting Jones has been arrested for violating his probation, which he received after his well documented, hit-and-run incident last year. The fighter’s management also released a statement to TMZ, which included “we are confident he will be released once he has an opportunity to explain to the judge the facts in this case.”

Jones is currently scheduled to fight light-heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier on April 23rd.
