Kimbo SliceAn expected heavyweight matchup between The Ultimate Fighter 10 contestants Kimbo Slice and Matt Mitrione, first reported in January, has been officially added to “UFC 113: Machida vs. Shogun 2” on May 8 in Montreal, the UFC announced during Saturday’s UFC 110 pay-per-view.

After losing to Roy Nelson in the opening round of The Ultimate Fighter 10, Slice (4-1) made his UFC debut in December with a unanimous decision over Houston Alexander at The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale, while Mitrione (1-0), a former NFL player, made his MMA debut on the card with a second-round knockout of Marcus Jones.

UFC 113 is headlined by a rematch between light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida and Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, and also includes Paul Daley vs. Josh Koscheck, Jeremy Stephens vs. Sam Stout, and Patrick Cote vs. Alan Belcher.
