If you like pivotal, heavyweight scraps, then chances are you’re going to be tuning into UFC 203 on September 10th.

Recently the promotion announced that not only will the Cleveland card feature Stipe Miocic – Alistair Overeem, as a bout between Fabricio Werdum and Ben Rothwell has been added to the card.

Werdum (20-6-1) had his reign as heavyweight champ ended by Miocic at UFC 198 on May 14th, as the latter took him out in the opening round with a right hook. The bout marked the first time Werdum had fought since he submitted Cain Velasquez last summer to become champ. “Vai Cavalo” is 4-1 in his last 5 bouts.

Rothwell (36-10) is also coming off a defeat, as former champ Junior dos Santos outscored him for the UD win in April. The heavy handed fighter is also 4-1 in his last 5 contests.

So, that’s an interesting addition to UFC 203. The victor will remain right in the thick of the title shot mix.

No other fights have been announced yet for the September 10th event.
