If you’ve been one of the folks who said Georges St-Pierre is never going to fight again, well, it may be time to re-examine that position.

The former welterweight champ was a guest on today’s “MMA Hour” with Ariel Helwani, and GSP began the interview by saying a test camp he recently did went well. The Canadian star had the camp to see how he felt, both physically and mentally, and GSP proceeded to say he’s ready to return to the cage. How about that?

St-Pierre was also asked about Michael Bisping, who recently reported that a member of the fighter’s team had reached out to him about the possible match-up. GSP denied that anyone from his camp officially had done so, and believed there may have been some confusion due to a social media post. But, “Rush” did say that if the UFC wants that fight, then they should give his agent a call…Wow.

Now, before you start planning your GSP Returns party just yet, St-Pierre added that his management is still in talks with the UFC, regarding a new deal. In April, St-Pierre said that as a result of the UFC’s Reebok deal, he loses out on money, and as a result, a new contract is required.

So, unless the UFC can’t come to financial terms with GSP, it certainly looks like we’re going to see the 35 year-old, former champ in the Octagon at least one more time.

St-Pierre hasn’t fought now since 2013, when he announced he was taking a break from fighting, after earning a split decision win over Johny Hendricks.
