Following Donald Cerrone’s impressive, stoppage win over Patrick Cote at UFC Fight Night 89, “Cowboy” is now a top 15 ranked fighter in two weight divisions…

Cerrone used takedowns, thumping legkicks and cracking left hands to take Cote out in the third round. The bout was Cerrone’s second in a row at welterweight, as in February, he submitted Alex Oliveira.

Well, the UFC has released its latest rankings, and Cerrone has moved into the #14 spot at 170. The Jackson – Wink MMA fighter is sitting in the #4 ranking at 155.

Stephen Thompson, who earned a UD win over Rory MacDonald at UFC FN 89, has moved into the #1, welterweight position. The latter dropped to #2.
