Unfortunately it looks like 2016 may not be a two fight campaign for Alexander Gustafsson after all.

Following Gustafsson’s decision win over Jan Blachowicz last month,  which was “The Mauler’s” first fight this year, the UFC booked the Swedish star to fight Antonio Rogerio Nogueira on November 19th. But, recently the UFC announced that Gustafsson has withdrawn due to an undisclosed injury.

Ryan Bader has agreed to step in and face the veteran light-heavyweight.

So, as noted, this is unfortunate news for Gustafsson and his fans. Bader will be looking to build on the brutal, knockout he scored on Ilir Latifi in September. Nogueira, meanwhile, hasn’t fought since May when he stopped Patrick Cummins.

The November 19th, UFC FN 100 card will go down in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
