Following recent talk and speculation that a bout between Ronda Rousey and Amanda Nunes could be booked soon, the UFC has announced that the two will indeed fight, December 30th

The bantamweight title fight will headline UFC 207, which will go down at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Rousey, as you likely know, will be returning to the Octagon for the first time since last November, when she was KO’d by Holly Holm. The bout ended Rousey’s reign as bantamweight champ and was her first professional defeat.

Nunes, on the other hand, took the 135 title from Miesha Tate this past July, by stopping her in the opening round. The only woman who has defeated Nunes in the UFC to date is Cat Zingano, who Rousey quickly submitted in 2015.

So, that’s big, big time fight to close out the UFC’s 2016 campaign. Can Rousey reclaim the title? Or will she be handed her second consecutive defeat?
