Derrick Lewis won’t get to fight Marcin Tybura this weekend as he was originally scheduled, but the noted finisher has already been rebooked for another fight.

The UFC has announced that the heavyweight contender will take on Shamil Abdurakhimov in the main event of its upcoming, December 9th card in Albany.

Lewis was supposed to fight Tybura at UFC FN 97, but the event was cancelled, after headliner BJ Penn withdrew due to an injury. Lewis (16-4) is looking to build on the split decision win he earned over Roy Nelson in July, which was his fourth straight win.

Abdurakhimov (17-3) is also coming off a split decision win, as he defeated Walt Harris earlier this month at UFC FN 96. Abdurakhimov is 2-1 in UFC action to date.
