The UFC’s final event for 2016 has received two, pivotal welterweight fights, as the promotion’s announced that Matt Brown will battle Tarec Saffiedine, and that Johny Hendricks will face Neil Magny.

The bouts will be part of UFC 207, which will take place on December 30th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Brown (20-15) is coming off a quick, stoppage loss to Jake Ellenberger, while Saffiedine (16-5) was decisioned by Rick Story in his last bout.

Magny (18-5) was taken out by Lorenz Larkin in his last fight, and Hendricks (17-5) lost via UD to Kelvin Gastelum in his previous outing.

So, those are two interesting fights. All four men are in need of a win, particularly Brown, who has gone 1-4 in his last 5 scraps.

UFC 207 will be headlined by a fight between bantamweight champ Amanda Nunes and Ronda Rousey.
