If you don’t normally watch “The Thrill & The Agony” previews for UFC cards, well, you might want to change that today.

The promotion has posted such a video for UFC 205, which went down last weekend in New York City. It shows Conor McGregor, his team and family celebrating his historic, stoppage win over Eddie Alvarez. With the victory, McGregor became the first man to hold two UFC titles – the 145 and 155 belts – at the same time.

But, it also includes footage of Khabib Nurmagomedov, during his bout with Michael Johnson, which saw him take out the latter in round three with a kimura. The galaxy class grappler is heard telling Johson to “give up”, before he proceeds to tell Dana White that he’s going to “smash your boy”. That “boy”, is presumably the aforementioned McGregor.

It remains to be seen, however, if Nurmagomedov gets his title shot. After the card, McGregor argued that Nurmagomedov has not been active enough.

UFC 205 also saw Miesha Tate announce her retirement, following her decision loss to Raquel Pennington. “The Thrill & The Agony” preview includes footage of Tate telling her boyfriend Bryan Caraway that she wants to retire, before she publicly announces it. Tate tells Caraway that she “doesn’t have it anymore” and that she doesn’t “care enough”.

So, yes, the preview below is well worth watching. One would think that watching the complete episode on Fight Pass will also be time well served.
