Just when it looked like things between Tyron Woodley and Dana White could really go off the rails, it’s been reported that the two have talked out their issues.

If you watched UFC 214 on Saturday, and followed the aftermath, then you know that White was extremely critical of Woodley’s performance at the event. Although the welterweight champ squashed multiple takedown attempts by Demian Maia, and received the UD nod, the fight featured hardly any memorable action and was widely panned. Afterwards, White criticized Woodley for not doing more to finish the fight, and announced that Georges St-Pierre would fight Michael Bisping next.

Well, since then, Woodley’s reported that he tore his labrum in the opening round of the bout, while appearing on “The MMA Hour“. In addition, demanded White apologize for what he said:

“I’ve done nothing but good stuff for the sport. I’ve done nothing but be a good model for the f*cking organization. I go out there and I fight with integrity. I covered your sport from the FOX desk a week before my fight. I always uphold my responsibilities to the organization. It’s timeout for that. The word behind ‘business’ is ‘man.’ You need to be a man, you owe me a public apology. And if I don’t get that, I’m going to start leaking some sh*t that people don’t want to be out in the wind. I’m not even kidding about that.”

Since then, however, TMZ apparently caught up with both White and Woodley. According to White, he’s talked with Woodley and the latter said he was just “pissed” and “didn’t mean it”. The outlet apparently also spoke with Woodley, who said things are “good” between him and White.

So, now it remains to be seen what comes next for Woodley. Usually a torn labrum means being sidelined for months, so will the UFC move forward with Bisping – GSP? Or might they want him to fight for an interim 170 belt?
