The UFC is in Norfolk, Virginia for its latest Fight Night card today, and the main event is a compelling bout at 155 pounds.

In the headliner, former lightweight champ Anthony Pettis will be looking to record his second straight win, by taking out fellow contender, Dustin Poirier.  The winner will take a big step towards title shot contention.

Pettis returned to the lightweight division in July, and earned a decision win over Jim Miller, after being stopped by featherweight champ Max Holloway last December.

Poirier, meanwhile, is coming off a no-contest ruling against Eddie Alvarez in May, after he was unable to continue, due to an illegal knee he took during the fight. Prior to that, Poirier also scored a decision win over the aforementioned Miller.

Recently the UFC posted the video below, which features Poirier, Pettis and Daniel Cormier discussing tonight’s fight.
