Earlier this week Anderson Silva finally commented publicly on the latest USADA notification he’s been handed, and now the legendary fighter has posted a follow up statement.

Silva was scheduled to fight Kelvin Gastelum at the UFC’s November 25th card in Shanghai, China. But, USADA announced several days ago that Silva has been flagged for a potential doping violation, and the former middleweight champ has been pulled from the card (Michael Bisping, as you surely know, is taking his place against Gastelum).

Well, as noted above, Silva sent out a statement whereby he thanked his fans, and he also relayed he “will not give up”. Since then, the Brazilian fighter has tweeted out another statement, which you can read below:

In 2015, Silva was suspended for a year, after he tested positive for steroids, following his fight with Nick Diaz. Silva has denied that he has ever knowingly taken performance enhancing drugs.
