Chances are we won’t learn much about Jon Jones’ immediate future in fighting for a little while, as it’s being reported his hearing with the California State Athletic Commission has been pushed back.

According to a report from MMA Fighting, Jones’ has been granted a continuance, and as a result, he’s expected to have his hearing in February, instead of December 12th as originally planned. The exact date of the hearing has yet to be determined.

The former light-heavyweight champ will be meeting with the CSAC as a result of his positive test for the anabolic steroid, Turinabol, following his win over Daniel Cormier at UFC 214. Due to the USADA flag, Jones’ victory was overturned to a no-contest, and Cormier was reinstated as the champ.

Jones has denied knowingly taking any type of performance enhancing drugs. Since the renowned fighter has been suspended for a failed drug test before, Jones is facing a multi-year suspension.
