Conor McGregor’s coach has been dismissing the notion that his fighter needs to defend the lightweight title or vacate it soon, and it looks like maybe that’s not sitting well with Tony Ferguson.

Ferguson has been one of the more vocal proponents of the idea that McGregor needs to defend or vacate, and recently, he had this to say about the latter and his coach, John Kavanagh.

Recently Kavanagh made it very clear that he wants to see McGregor back in the cage, but, the SBG coach hasn’t made any comments about the Irish star fighting in say, quarter one or two of 2018.

McGregor’s last UFC bout took place in November, 2016, when he stopped Eddie Alvarez.
