Speculation about whether Brock Lesnar could return to the Octagon always ebbs and flows, but following recent comments from Dana White, we might see another spike…
Although Lesnar is currently with the WWE, is no longer in USADA’s testing pool and still has several months left on his USADA suspension, there’s always talk about him returning to the cage. Most recently, Francis Ngannou relayed that he’d be interested in fighting the former heavyweight champ.
Well, recently White appeared on “UFC Tonight”, and he was asked to weigh-in, on whether he thinks Lesnar could step in the Octagon again (quote via MMA Weekly):
“Anything is possible,” White said. “Brock has always shown interest in coming over and fighting in the UFC. I wouldn’t be shocked if he gave it one more shot.”
Anything is indeed possible, as we’ve seen with CM Punk fighting in the UFC, Conor McGregor boxing Floyd Mayweather, and White calling on the latter to step into the Octagon. So, as the UFC President noted, it wouldn’t be that shocking if Lesnar fought again, sometime in late 2018.
