After Yoel Romero took out Luke Rockhold in emphatic fashion at UFC 221 last night, it quickly became evident that his leg was in considerable pain. But it looks like the powerful fighter won’t be sidelined for too long, after all.
Romero finished Rockhold with two, thunderous punches in round three, but, the middleweight needed help to walk out of the cage. Then in his post fight interview with the UFC’s Megan Olivi, he said he thought his leg was broken.

But, thankfully the fighter’s manager, Ibrahim Kawa, has reported the following since:
With @YoelRomeroMMA in the hospital. Leg is fine people couple weeks and he will be good to go

UFC 221 took place in Perth, Australia. Romero stepped up on short notice for injured champ, Robert Whittaker.
