Floyd Mayweather may in fact have no intention of fighting in the Octagon, but the retired boxer continues to spark talk about him facing Conor McGregor in the cage.

Not long ago, Mayweather denied that he was thinking about fighting again, in a ring or a cage. But more recently, the boxing star has been teasing / trolling the world about a transition into MMA, by posting videos of him getting in a cage.

Well, in the latest social media post, Mayweather posted the comments and image below. Not long after, McGregor responded:

So, while the consensus seems to be that Mayweather – McGregor II – under the UFC banner – is very, very unlikely, both men continue to talk about it.

McGregor faced Mayweather last August, and lost the boxing match via a 10th round, stoppage.
