After a bout between Brandon Moreno and Ray Borg was cancelled, just two days out from UFC 223, the fight’s already been rebooked.

The flyweights were scheduled to battle last Saturday night, but Borg suffered corneal abrasions during the now infamous, media day ruckus involving Conor McGregor. Well, according to a new report from MMA Junkie, UFC officials have confirmed the two are going to fight at the promotion’s May 29th card in Santiago, Chile.

More from MMA Frenzy

Borg (11-3) has yet to compete, since he lost via submission to flyweight champ, Demetrious Johnson, in October. Borg had recorded back-to-back wins before facing Johnson.

Moreno (14-4) is also coming off a loss, as he dropped a decision to Sergio Pettis in his last bout, which went down in August. Moreno had won 11 straight before that.

So, that’s a solid addition to UFC FN 129. Hopefully the fight finally goes down, as Borg – Moreno has been cancelled now on two occasions.

A welterweight fight between Kamaru Usman and Santiago Ponzinibbio is headlining the Santiago event.
